6 month contract - Parramatta Location / WFH - $900 per day plus super Our client is a large state government department, their Corporate Services function develops, manages and advises on systems, infrastructure, policies and standards for the department in the areas of finance, procurement and administration, asset management, information and communication technology. Primary purpose of the role The Change Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, coordinating and delivering end to end change strategies that support the successful delivery of one or more technology initiatives across Major Projects. The role will also oversee the change portfolio across Major Projects ensuring change strategies and plans led by other Change Managers align across Major Projects led projects. **Key accountabilities** - Monitor the Major Projects portfolio of change ensuring that change activities and initiatives are aligned. - Mentor and work closely with the other Change Managers to ensure all change activities and communications align with the Major Projects change strategy and processes proactively managing any dependencies. - Using a Prosci change management framework and methodology, develop and implement change management strategies to ensure adoption of key changes while minimising resistance to change. - Build and foster valuable long-term working relationships and strong engagement with leaders and managers, through regular, constructive conversations around preparing, implementing and managing change initiatives. - Design and undertake stakeholder analysis, impact assessments and business readiness assessments. Develop and implement change and communications programs for major projects and programs. - Monitor, assess and assure change readiness, undertake research and the analysis to identify emerging stakeholder issues and recommend options, solutions and advice to ensure success of the change management initiatives. - Design and development of standardised metrics for the measurement of change effectiveness and business readiness to gain insight into how change is being embedded in the organisation and take appropriate corrective action to drive success. **Key knowledge and experience** - Demonstrable experience managing highly complex and strategic change initiatives across multiple business channels. **Essential requirements** - Tertiary qualifications in change management, organisational development, human resource management, business or relevant equivalent experience. **If this sounds like you, APPLY NOW** Applications received after the due date may be considered for similar roles.
