Lending Performance Manager

The purpose of this role is to lead, support and influence a team of branch-based Lenders (over multiple sites) and Mobile Lending Managers who fulfil home lending and other financial needs for both our existing and new customers.
The Lending Performance Manager is accountable for the states/regions asset growth and sales leadership, embedding minimum expectations and disciplines around activity and pipeline management, on-boarding new lenders, supporting proactive business development activities, observational coaching and lending support.
- Coaching and embedding capability across the group
- Support the on boarding of new lenders across region
- Lead operational and industry changes to ensure your teams are informed and capable
- Identify & support talent through effective succession planning
- Margin management across the state/region’s asset book
- Ensure minimum activity expectations are known and embedded for your team
- Lead and support strategic business development activities with community and business partners
- Working with our Franchise and Corporate teams to support and upskill in the preparation of complex lending submissions to credit which requires strong technical and credit assessment skills
- Build mutually beneficial relationships with other BOQ business units
- Partner with Franchise and Corporate teams to ensure sustainable profit growth throughout the region
- Takes personal ownership and accountability to solve customer issues, challenges, and complaints
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through successful leadership and team management
- Identification of opportunities to improve the Lender experience and further drive improved advocacy through stakeholder engagement and strong negotiation abilities to help support the network
- Support the transformational change agenda as we digitise our origination platforms and improve our processes and system
- Maintain personal risk and compliance training requirements
**About you**
To be considered for this role, you will have a wealth of experience in mortgage lending, and a strong customer service and sales ethos. Your proven ability to influence, motivate and lead a team of lenders will be highly regarded, along with your demonstrable experience in building relationships, driving sales targets and embedding core performance activities in order to deliver strong results.
In addition to the above required experience, you will also have the following skills, experience and attributes:
