**About the Company**

Davidson Recruitment is a preferred supplier for the Government sector and have strong partnerships within Local, State and Federal Government. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Compliance officer to commence a contract immediately.

**About the Role**

Operating from within the Southern Region, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of regulatory activities from a compliance, licensing and client service perspective. You will be a member of a small team with an active role in ensuring that Queensland continue to operate in a responsible manner and that the persons and organisations engaged in the industry are of suitable character and repute
- Undertake supervised investigations into complaints and suspected breaches of legislation
- Preparing written correspondence such as letters and reports detailing the findings of compliance activities and associated recommendations
- Proactively engaging with industry and the community including preparing and delivering presentations

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced and motivated administrator who enjoys working within a fast paced environment. You will pride yourself on your ability to go above and beyond to ensure that business objectives are met.
- Have a good work ethic and be able to achieve results with mínimal supervision
- Be a quick learner when provided appropriate instruction and guidance
- Be a competent user of office software and technology
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
