Compas is seeking an
**Assistant Director for Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance **to join a Federal Government Department for a long-term engagement.
In this role you will be an advocate and champion for cyber security. This will include providing leadership, influencing key stakeholders, driving appropriate behaviour and culture changes, building awareness through effective communication, and leading the strengthening of cyber security knowledge and capability across the workforce and their practices.
**Commencing October**
**12-month contract with extension options**
**Must be an Australian Citizen with a Negative Vetting 1 clearance**

**Criteria**
- Three or more years of experience in Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Knowledge of and experience with relevant government security frameworks such as the PSPF, ISM etc.
- Significant knowledge and experience with enterprise information and cyber security processes, concepts and best practice with an exposure to government cloud models
- CISSP/CISM or equivalent certifications are preferred
- Demonstrated experience in effective reporting to executive management
