ABOUT THE ROLE

At G+D we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and professional individual to join the Quality team in the role of Quality Inspector based in Knoxfield in a permanent, part-time capacity.
The position will suit a highly organised, motivated and professional person with eagerness to learn.
Key responsibilities of this role are to assist the Quality Manager as well as working collaboratively with our other Quality Inspector to oversee the operations and completing internal auditing of those processes, auditing of 3rd party goods and participating in continuous improvement practices of the area.

**Daily responsibilities will include the following**:

- Quality control of production processes
- Quality control of incoming goods and materials
- Conduct internal testing using Quality tools/equipment
- Report writing - in process, qualification, print reports etc
- Compliance with G+D Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), Quality and Environmental policies, procedures and work instructions as applicable to this position
- Recommend improvements to the existing quality system to Managers or Supervisors
- Act as a back up to other inspectors when they are away

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a person with the following skills and traits:

- Knowledge & Experience of quality control principals
- Knowledge of production or manufacturing
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Good team player
- Time Management and prioritisation skills
- Very high attention to detail and the ability to cross check and verify own and others work
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills including report writing skills
