**Program Background**

Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) supports implementation of the Australian Government's climate change commitments under _Australia's International Development Policy_, in line with partner government priorities.

CRC supports the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to increase climate investments, drive climate integration, and better address climate change and disaster risk across Australia’s development portfolio.

The Role

The Program Manager - Climate Resilience Technical Team will provide support for management of the task system (for example: logging, filing, monitoring), contract development and implementation management, MEL outputs and assistance to the Senior Specialist and CRC Support Unit (CRCSU) specialists and management for the delivery of advice and technical assistance to strengthen gender-responsive inclusive climate and disaster resilience integration and programming in Australia’s aid program.

**About You**

**Essential Experience and Knowledge**
- Qualifications in international development, environmental sciences, climate change, disaster risk management, project/program management, or administration/operations.
- Some experience working in project/program/grant management with strong understanding of or willingness to learn Share Drive, Excel, administration and workflow processes.
- Experience in project/program management, including developing terms of reference, contracting, workplans, budgeting and supplier performance management.
- Sound knowledge of DFAT priorities in Asia and the Indo-Pacific, specifically regarding climate related development challenges.

**Desirable**
- Experience working in the Indo-Pacific region.
- Experience of working with Government departments.
