SkyPoint Climb offers an unparalleled adventure atop the Q1 residential tower, boasting stunning 360-degree views of the Gold Coast region. As a Climb Leader, you'll guide our guests through a thrilling 90-minute journey, ascending a 298-step staircase on the exterior of the building to reach the summit. Along the way, you'll ensure their safety while capturing unforgettable moments against the backdrop of the massive spire.

Your role as a Climb Leader is pivotal in delivering a top-tier experience that becomes a highlight for both locals and visitors alike.

**Here's what you'll be responsible for**:

- Warmly welcoming guests, handling registrations, and facilitating ticket sales.
- Conducting comprehensive safety briefings prior to the climb.
- Checking and assembling all safety equipment to guarantee a secure experience.
- Supervising climbers to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Sharing insights about the Gold Coast's landmarks, history, and attractions.
- Photographing climbers and offering prints for purchase.
- Adapting to various roles within SkyPoint Climb and Observation Deck Guest Services.
- Maintaining extensive product and service knowledge to assist guests effectively.
- Staying updated on reservations, promotions, and upcoming events.
- Maximizing revenue through upselling and engaging guests.
- Handling point-of-sale transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards through regular cleaning duties.

***To qualify for this role, you must**:

- Possess an outgoing and customer-centric demeanor.
- Ideally, have prior experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and cultural awareness.
- Be comfortable speaking in front of small groups.
- Exhibit problem-solving abilities and quick thinking.
- Feel at ease working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Prioritize safety and attention to detail.
- Maintain physical fitness for demanding tasks.
- Have a good understanding of Gold Coast history and attractions.
- Hold current First Aid, CPR, and Work Safely at Heights certifications, or be willing to obtain them.
- Complete all required Climb Leader competency training.
- Be flexible with availability across a 7-day roster, inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
