**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Head of Overhauls - Gas and Renewables, the Overhaul Manager is an important role within the Maintenance and Overhauls (M&O) Group. And is responsible for the planning, governance and for overseeing the successful delivery of a defined overhaul and associated projects in line with the business strategy, as defined by the Program Sponsors.

The Overhauls Manager must have practical experience of having been involved the development of and execution of Programs of work from Concept to Execution.

The broad roles and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

- Ensuring the Overhaul remains aligned with the business strategy and priorities as defined by the Program Sponsors
- Planning the overall Overhaul, including associated projects and monitoring the progress
- Managing the Overhaul’s budget
- Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
- Coordinating the Projects and their interdependencies
- Managing and utilizing resources across projects
- Managing stakeholders’ communication
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
- Managing the main overhaul documentations such as the program initiation document

To be considered for this role you will have excellent people and project management skills.

You can show, through the work you’ve done:

- Heavy Industry or process experience (min 5 years)
- Demonstrated Leadership skills
- Health, Safety and Environment knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation skills
- Good finance and budget management
- Management of Change
- Ability to travel for long periods of time during execution (4-6weeks)
- Ability to manage complex prioritisation of conflicting requirements.
