38 hour week

Monday to Friday

Located at Wingfield and reporting to the Manager CommercialEngines, you will have mechanical experience with industrial,marine and generator engines. You must be able to workunsupervised and extended hours when required, in a field orworkshop environment.

The successful candidate will work within a motivated and highquality operation to work to our high service standards andfollow up results. The role offers plenty of variety andwill focus on repair, install, service of generators,industrial and marine engines. Some knowledge on gasconfigured engines would be preferred, but is notessential. This will suit a person with proven faultfinding skills, a thorough mechanical aptitude and goalfocused.

You will be accustomed to a high level of customer service andhave a mature work ethic. You will have experiencewithCaterpillar generators and engines along with theability to demonstrate persistence with diagnostics with agreat track record formeeting customerexpectations.

Some rostered after hours work is necessary with a supportsystem on call and includes aservice vehicle.

Your responsibilities will include;

- Engine system diagnosis
- Engine overhaul or rebuildrepairs to an excellent standard
- Service and repair to allmodels of product
- Assist with generator packageinstallations
- Ensure all preparations forfield repairs are complete prior to leaving the workshop
- Complete field service docketson a daily basis
- Complete SIMS reports for allCaterpillar repairs
- Perform mechanical diagnosisand testing as required

Diesel Mechanic qualifications areessential, as is a current and valid drivers licence.

You will possess excellent writtenand verbal communication skills, along with ability to be highlyorganised.

To be successful in this role,youwill also be a team player who is willing to assist andwork with other Cavpower employees.
