Since 2001, Northrop Grumman has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force’s 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing Northrop Grumman SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) team is comprised of approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training, and logistics support to the fleet of two Boeing BBJ’s and three Dassault Falcon 7X’s Business Jets.
**Your Role**:
Reporting to the Engineering and Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for leader and dispersed team along with reporting responsibility to Air Movements Group (AMG) CAMO. Your role involves overseeing maintenance, engineering, and supply support services to ensure aircrafts comply with the correct configuration and meet intended purposes.
As the Manager Continuing Airworthiness Services, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance including airworthiness directives and operational directives are carried out in in accordance with DASR M requirements.
**About You**
As a leader, you will be adept at handling challenging conversations and ensuring contract and regulatory requirements are effectively tailored to program needs. Your stakeholder management skills will play a vital role in supporting internal and external stakeholders need.
With extensive experience within a defence or aviation maintenance organisation you will have a strong understanding CASA, DASA or EASA Part M and 21J regulatory frameworks. This coupled with your inner knowledge, or the Part 145 organisation will help ensure airworthiness issue are resolved quickly and effectively.
Your strong analytical and reasoning skills, attention to detail, quick thinking, are crucial. If you are ready for a challenging yet rewarding role in the dynamic defence/aviation industry, this really is a fantastic opportunity.
The Manager Continuing Airworthiness Services will also require you to hold Form 4 responsibilities in line with CASA and DASA requirements.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
