About the role

The primary role of the Workforce Participation Manager for Lendlease is to support delivery on the NSW Government’s objectives of boosting female participation in the construction sector. The role will plan, implement and report on initiatives that achieve employment outcomes and increase the number of women working in trades and non-traditional roles.

This role will support two major Government infrastructure projects, Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct and the Powerhouse Parramatta.

**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain understanding of the projects Workforce Participation commitments to ensure activities align with broader project priorities and generate efficiencies in approach.- Plan and implement programs, and form external partnerships, to boost the appeal of the construction industry to women, break down barriers and generate employment outcomes- Work in close coordination with Workforce Participation and Social Impact Managers to coordinate the planning and implementation of employment, skilling and training and community development programs as they relate to women in construction- Provide internal and external reporting accurately reporting on workforce participation outcomes, issues and barries to increasing the number of women in construction.- Develop and share case studies and success stories including career profiles to showcase women working in trades and non-traditional occupations.- Work closely with the Construction Managers, Project Site Managers, Package Managers and subcontractors in identifying employment, skilling and training opportunities.- Perform all duties in accordance with Lendlease policies, processes, systems, and procedures.- Lead by example in setting an inclusive culture on site where all gender, cultures and diverse backgrounds are included.

Core deliverables- Increase participation and retention rates of women in trades and non-traditional roles across participating Lendlease project sites.- Increase the uptake of women completing education and training.- Increase awareness on the importance of supporting women to work in the construction sector.
