Optix is a dedicated team committed to reducing on-road risk for fleet operators and the driver community by developing and providing risk-identifying information coupled with behaviour changing solutions.

Optix, a leading company in the Driver Safety Programs industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled **Accounts Assistant** to join our Operations Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our business continues to thrive from a financial cashflow standpoint, working closely with the finance, client experience, and operations teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare end-of-month client subscription billing
- Generate client invoices for subscriptions, installation work, and hardware
- Project management for large clients
- Manage accounts receivable and monitor cash flow
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow entries
- Escalate overdue accounts
- Assist with monthly and annual reporting cycles
- Produce reports on subscription details and accounts receivable

**Selection Criteria**:

- Proven experience in accounts/finance, preferably in SMEs
- Excellent knowledge of MYOB
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook, and advanced Excel skills preferred
- Experience within the Logistics/Transport industry is highly advantageous
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative in managing workload
