**About the team**:
Supply Chain makes life easier, safer and more sustainable across our network. Our team works with thousands of trusted businesses every day to bring together our suppliers, distribution centres and stores. By keeping those relationships strong and processes running smoothly, we’re able to maintain the availability and quality of our products for our customers.
In partnership with Ocado we are in the process of delivering a brand new state-of-the-art customer fulfilment centre in Victoria. Harnessing the latest technology this site will offer a wider range to our customers and safter, cleaner environment for our staff. As this site ramps up we have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join the team

**About the role**:
You will lead and manage all elements of the quality control process for our brand new customer fulfilment centre, ensuring that all products meet food standards requirements. As a member of this new team, you will help drive a great customer experience. You will also:

- carry out fresh produce quality inspections across all chilled area channels and rejecting any delivers that do not meet specifications
- work with operational leaders across the site to ensure that quality process and procedures are being followed. Being a champion for a quality focused culture
- be an advocate for safe storage, handling and distribution. Coaching team members on correct safety procedures in line with policy
- as a member of the optimisation and inventory team assist in achieving Coles key performance indicators on safety, customer experience fulfillment and delivery
- drive a customer focused culture across all departments of the operation ensuring Coles Online customers receive ‘the perfect order’ each time.

***About you and your skills**:
We’re looking for an experienced Quality professional who has experience of worked in a fast-paced fresh produce environment. You will also have:

- appropriate technical qualification or diploma relevant to quality control. Experience using quality management systems (HACCP) is advantageous.
- ability to carry out thorough routine testing with an eye for detail. Ensuring that Quality is maintained at high standards.
- ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment, whilst ensuring key deliverables are met
- successful track record of working collaboratively with operations leaders in supply chain to improve quality outcomes for customers
- experience in governance with ability to write reports and articulate process. Experience managing an end-to-end product quality improvement program would be advantageous
