Content Author, Coles

Medium Rare Content Agency (MRCA) is seeking a full-time content author to work across the Coles account. The role supports the Coles content team and client in publishing content within the CMS.
Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of quality content published to the website by building, reviewing and approving all content elements within the CMS. Content must meet technical and display standards set by the website teams.
**What’s the role?**
- Building and publishing within a variety of content templates.
- Quality assurance of all metadata including tags, metadescription and titles.
- Gatekeeping of tag additions and support of taxonomy governance.
- Resolution of metadata inaccuracy.
- Participate in testing and ensuring components are fit for purpose before release into the production environment.
- Management of workflows and progress trackers.
- Working with the team to facilitate content surfacing opportunities, including backlinking, recommended content and landing page real estate.
**Who you are**
- Previous work experience in content will be highly regarded to demonstrate contextual understanding.
**Preferred Skills**
- CMS experience (AEM preferred).
- Writing, interpreting and editing of HTML/Javascript skills (highly regarded).
- Stakeholder engagement and management.
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs.
- Basic understanding of on-page SEO and UX.
- Experience with tag management.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to identify, flag and troubleshoot backlogs.
- An innovative mindset that is always looking for continual improvement opportunities.
- Great time management skills.
- A genuine interest in content and food media.
