A Development Manger position based in SA with a focus on Land.

The SA Housing Authority is committed to a modern, sustainable, integrated and effective housing system to provide better housing choices for South Australians. Through Urban Renewal land development, the States new 10-year housing Strategy, Our Housing Future 2020-2030, creates opportunity to work with the housing and homelessness sector. Delivering the Authority’s vision and goals through sustainable change, the focus is to boost the supply of affordable housing and reduce housing stress, reform homelessness support, modernise the social housing system and support well-functioning and inclusive communities.

As the Land Development Manager, you will be driven and passionate, using your experience to take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful completion of complex renewal programs. You will ensure that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained all while understanding the need to work with a commercial mindset that will only further benefit the community. You will be an excellent communicator that will bring teams together to deliver unified goals whilst always striving to meet the Authorities vision.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Urban Renewal, this role will require complete development cycle experience that includes:

- Design management, planning and feasibility analysis
- Development approval processes, delivery, settlements and handover
- Managing land subdivision projects working to business plans, project budgets
- Leading a high performing team as a strong collaborator and communicator.
