**Our Client**

**The role**
The position will report to the Customer Experience Team Leader, and its primary purpose is to drive telephone sales and assist customers with order fulfillment. You will be a real team player who will work with the sales team to ensure outstanding customer service on a national basis. This role needs someone with a genuine sales persona - who is confident, has the ability to quickly develop rapport on the phone, has the gift of the gab, and a smile in their voice. The job is to handle customer inquiries and to take orders mainly for smaller customers. There is no cold calling involved.
**Our client will consider anyone who has had sales experience in wholesale/trade - or even sales generally.**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage initial incoming customer inquiries
- Preparation of quotes, orders and deliveries
- General customer relations and sales service

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of plants or exposure to horticulture, landscaping, parks and gardens, arboriculture or nursery trade industries would be highly regarded **but not essential**:

- Experience in a customer-facing role with the proven ability to deliver a high level of service to external and internal customers
- Highly motivated and positive team player dedicated to supporting the team
- Strong administration skills with high attention to detail
- Exceptional time management, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Well developed computer skills proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word
- Ability to work with the sales team in meeting customers expectations
