Are you passionate about empowering individuals and committed to inclusivity?

We’re looking for a proactive Support Coordinator to assist NDIS participants in

Greater Sydney, helping them to achieve their personal goals and enhance their

quality of life.

What You’ll Do: As a Support Coordinator, you;ll be instrumental in guiding

participants to fulfill their aspirations and improve their everyday experiences. You'll build close relationships, assist in navigating their NDIS plans, and ensure they receive the necessary support. Your role will also involve advocating for their rights to access premier services and opportunities.

Your Tasks Include:
Educating participants about the NDIS framework and advocating for their

needs.

Collaborating to define their goals and designing support plans to realize

them.

Monitoring their progress, updating reports, and liaising with the team.

Enhancing their well-being by supporting daily activities, community

engagement, and personal development.

Identifying educational needs and facilitating access to programs such as our

RAW (Reading and Writing) adult learning support.

Who We're Looking For:
Someone driven to assist people with disabilities to live as they choose.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships.

Team collaboration skills and proficient management of responsibilities and

records.

Patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of diverse needs and

challenges.

Nice-to-Have:
While no specific qualifications are required, enthusiasm and a willingness to

learn are crucial.

Experience with NDIS and familiarity with the disability sector are

advantageous.
