About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.
About you
As our Regional Education Support Officer, you’ll have excellent administration skills, as well as highly developed communication skills, both written and verbally. You’ll be working in a collaboratively and coordinated way with Medical Educators providing consistency to the team. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
high level administration and coordination skills with experience in an education delivery setting
exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proven project management skills
ability to engage professionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders
excellent time management skills with the ability to work as part of a team and independently
demonstrated ability to remain calm in busy, high-paced and complex environments
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you’ll understand vocational training for GPs and someone who can provide consistency to the team. In addition, you’ll:
provide high level administration support across a range of activities to the regional leadership team
consult, liaise, and work with key stakeholders to provide support to the GP Training Medical Education leadership team in achieving initiatives
assist the Regional Operations Manager and Regional Directors of Training with projects and workshops as required
coordinate medical education and regional operation meetings including meeting creation and preparation of all documentation, minute taking during meetings and assisting with out of meeting sessions and actions
