The hotel portfolio consists of nearly 1800 rooms and over 1000 employees. In addition to the hotels, the Stamford Group owns a portfolio of premium commercial office properties internationally and is involved in the development of high-end luxury residential units in Australia. **About the Role**: We are seeking a driven and organised Human Resources Coordinator to support our Brisbane property HR operations. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone with foundational HR experience who’s ready to step up and grow in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. You’ll be supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle and partnering with the HR Advisor, Area HR Director, and Head of Departments to ensure our people programs run smoothly and compliantly. **Key Responsibilities**: 1) Recruitment & Onboarding Conduct VEVO checks and ensure compliance with hiring policy and procedure Facilitate seamless new hire onboarding processes including, systems access, new hire orientation, and policy training to ensure a strong start. 2) HR Operations & Administration Maintain employee records (digital and physical) securely Assist with HRIS/Payroll data entry, reporting, and payroll coordination Prepare HR communications including announcements and memos Manage tools, benefits, ID cards, and systems provisioning 3) Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Support WHS initiatives, committee meetings, training sessions Assist with injury management and return-to-work coordination Ensure WHS training program compliance 4) Performance, Engagement & Recognition Coordinate performance review processes (30/60-day & annual) Support implementation of development programs, coordinate mandatory training compliance, and lead employee recognition initiatives (e.g., Red Knight & Star of the Week Awards). Support employee engagement programs, town halls, and recognition initiatives Help administer rewards programs and internal employee communications 5) General HR Support Partner with the Area HR Director to provide guidance to operational leaders Assist with employee relations matters, meeting documentation, and follow-up Ensure compliance with Stamford policies, modern award provisions, and Fair Work obligations Liaise with Finance to ensure accuracy of employee records, resolve discrepancies, and support system cut-offs and signoffs. Coordinate employee exits including resignation/termination documentation, final pay instructions, exit interviews, and ensuring return of company property and deactivation of access. **Minimum Requirements**: Qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline Return to Work Coordinator certification (or willingness to obtain) 2-3 years’ experience in an HR coordinator or assistant role preferred Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS system. Experience in Zambion advantageous but not essential.
