Our client is seeking an experienced Merchandise Planning Manager to effectively control and coordinate all merchandise areas, inclusive of product and production, retail & concession sales and store distribution to ensure budget, growth & business objectives are achieved.

**About The Role**:

- Sales order management.
- Work with GM in regards to range planning.
- Manage replenishment, size control and out of stocks.
- Assortment planning for store locations - managing the phasing of deliveries and alignment with VM and marketing calendars.
- Build merchandise plans to meet the growing business demand.
- Coordinate weekly trade meetings to ensure weekly financial performance is communicated between key departments.
- Manage stock consolidation process to achieve high merchandise sell through and optimise results.
- Implementation and management of stock allocation profiles for retail stores.

**To Be Successful You Will Have**:

- Relevant tertiary or related qualifications.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Retail/Wholesale Merchandise Management.
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, at both strategic and executional level.
- Proven record in driving both retail and wholesale sales, able to identify potential opportunities of generating new business/accounts.
- Experienced in all aspects of the visual presentation & marketing of female apparel product.
- Proven leadership skills and strategic thinker.
