An exciting opportunity exists for a talented individual to join the Corporate Governance Branch as Adviser in the Corporate Performance and Reporting team at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The position offers the opportunity for you to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, providing important advisory and coordination support for the department's budget and performance reporting activities. You will actively contribute to and facilitate meaningful reporting on the department's performance to Parliament, the Premier, portfolio Ministers and senior executives.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to numerous areas of the department, support critical departmental functions and provide advice to key decision makers on a range of issues crucial to public sector transparency and accountability.
About you
- Demonstrated experience with Victoria's financial management and performance reporting and public sector governance frameworks.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the processes, policies and procedures of government, and of public sector governance and accountability and institutions.
- High level of attention to detail and demonstrated ability to make sense of large volumes of complex information.
- Highly developed stakeholder management and negotiation skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

To be able to meet the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination requirements and for the department to meet its obligations under the OH&S Act, the department will request employees provide their vaccination information (including 3rd dose / booster) or evidence of an exemption throughout the recruitment process. Inability to provide this may impact your subsequent employment to the department.
