**About the role**

Join the City of Melbourne as a Corporate Reporting Lead and play a pivotal role in shaping how one of Australia’s most dynamic cities plans, performs, and reports. In this key role, you’ll turn strategy into action by aligning business activities with the Council Plan and leading a critical portfolio within a collaborative team. You'll drive high-impact projects that enhance corporate planning, strategic reporting, and systems administration—ensuring compliance with statutory requirements while delivering transparent, high-quality outcomes for our community. **You will**
- Enhance team capabilities in reporting and foster a culture of transparency throughout the organisation.
- Co-lead City of Melbourne’s integrated reporting framework
- Lead the development, analysis and delivery of Council’s Annual Report
- Develop and deliver comprehensive operational reporting solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organisation, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Generate actionable performance insights that drive measurable improvements, support strategic decision-making, and enhance overall organisational effectiveness.

**You will bring**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in integrated corporate planning, reporting, or business analysis.
- Specialist knowledge of performance measurement and/or CAMMS systems will be highly regarded.
- Proven skills in business planning, improvement initiatives, and implementing change in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, and propose effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and manage projects and resources within agreed timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, share knowledge, and resolve issues.
- Training or experience in change management and/or design thinking will be well regarded.
