Exciting Opportunity in Gympie for our next Case Manager/Practitioner.

Join our dynamic team in Gympie. We are currently seeking a dedicated Practitioner/Case Manager to join us in a permanent, full-time capacity. In this role, you will be at the forefront of providing direct therapeutic interventions to children and young people while offering crucial support to foster and kinship carers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish meaningful connections with children and young people across various age groups, utilising a micro-therapeutic approach to enhance resilience and understanding of personal history.
- Assess strengths and risks within care placements, ensuring Foster and Kinship Carers acquire and maintain the knowledge, skills, and capability to provide safe and supportive care.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement targeted, time-limited therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and carers, tailored to different developmental stages (0-17 years).

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social or Behavioural Sciences, or a related field.
- Previous experience in working with carers, including training, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Proven experience in assessing complex needs, developing individualized care plans, and providing in-home support.
- Knowledge and understanding of child protection, including the Children Protection Act.
- Demonstrated expertise in training and facilitating support groups.
- Ability to operate within child-centred frameworks within a family-focused network.
- Timely completion of complex documentation within required guidelines.
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children) or willingness to obtain.
- Current Licensed Care Service (LCS).
- Current Queensland Driver's License.
