- Lead end-to-end project delivery for a range of events, managing all aspects including content development, scheduling, staff coordination, talent contracting, logistics (e.g. AV, venue setup), and budget oversight-with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective marketing and ticketing strategies that maximise attendance and engagement.
- Support strategic partnerships by delivering high-quality event components aligned with partner expectations and deliverables.
- Maintain efficient systems and schedules to ensure seamless coordination, delivery, and reporting of event activity and performance.
- Use audience feedback and evaluation data to refine events and ensure continuous improvement in line with Museums Victoria's brand and quality standards.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment that reflects Museums Victoria's commitment to diversity, innovation, safety, and respect.
- Adhere to all organisational policies and regulations, including compliance with the Child Safe Standards and other legislative requirements.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Proven experience developing and delivering high-quality events in the cultural sector, engaging diverse audiences through a range of contemporary approaches.
- Strong understanding of event production within a museum or public engagement context, with experience producing events around science, STEM, sustainability, design, and First Peoples content.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver events and projects that meet audience and organisational objectives-on time and within budget.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborators.
- Experience leading event teams and managing operational issues during event delivery.
