An exciting opportunity exists for a capable Disputes Officer with good communication skills to join our small team who are responsible for the timely resolution and processing of EFT Cardholder payments disputes and chargebacks.

You will be responsible for end to end management of payment disputes and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. You will do this through establishing effective working relationships with stakeholders, providing guidance on Card Scheme requirements, evidentiary requirements and response timeframes, ensuring timely resolution of Disputes in compliance with industry standards. Your structured, yet flexible approach will see you managing multiple priorities and record keeping requirements with ease.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate legislation and regulations
- An understanding of fundamental IT security methods and systems access credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
- Good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a small team.

Prior experience with processing of disputed cardholder payments or with the ePayments Code, eftpos and International Card Schemes disputed payments rules and processes would be advantageous, but if you lack some experience in this area we’d still like to hear from you.
