**The Opportunity**

This is a **part-time opportunity** to work as a **Patient Service Assistant**. Your duties will include:

- Provide patient care where required or supported by clinical staff members.
- Performing cleaning duties in patient rooms and common areas.
- Assist patients on arrival and allow them to settle for their admission.
- Transport patients to and from appointments using Hospital Wheelchair Accessible Car.

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.

You will also hold.
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services or Care Support Services (Desirable).
- Experience within a clinical hospital setting.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Solid understanding of hospital operations, medical terminology, and quality patient care.
- Understanding importance of infection control and manual handling guidelines.

**Desirable:

- Certificate 4 in Health Services
