**The Opportunity**

This is a casual opportunity to work as a Patient Service Assistant. Your duties will include:

- Provide patient care where required or supported by clinical staff members
- Performing cleaning duties in patient rooms and common areas
- Assist patients on arrival and allow them to settle for their admission.
- Pick up new admissions from Pindara using Hospital wheelchair Accessible Car
- Transport patients to and from appointments using Hospital Wheelchair Accessible Car

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.

You will also hold;
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services or Care Support Services (Desirable)
- Experience within a clinical hospital setting
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Solid understanding of hospital operations, medical terminology, and quality patient care
- Understanding importance of infection control and manual handling guidelines

**Desirable:

- Nursing Student Year 2 -3
- Certificate 4 in Health Services

**Remuneration**
