Our capabilities include Australia’s domestic debit network, real-time payments infrastructure, secure bill payments, digital identity exchange, QR code payments and experiences, and open wallet solutions.

**The Purpose**:
The Pricing Manager will partner with the AP+ Commercial team to develop pricing for new and renewal of existing deals.

You will work cross functionally with other departments such as legal and finance to support the development of strategic pricing for AP+ products, taking into account financial, market and regulatory considerations.

As the Pricing Manager you will be instrumental to enhancing pricing processes and governance across the organisation and establishing AP+ center of excellence for pricing.

**Key Responsible of the role will include**:

- Develop pricing models for merchant, issuer and acquirer deals, balancing member and AP+ objectives
- Extract and synthesise complex financial data from multiple sources and present succinct summaries that drive decisions.
- Communicate key pricing drivers of the deal including financial and non-financial implications to the A+ Leadership team
- Work across multiple departments such as legal and finance to execute deals
- Improve the pricing process governance from deal inception to deal implementation.
- Enhance pricing modelling and insightful analytics capability at AP+
- Create data to track KPI’s on deals priced, portfolio pricing and competitive analytics
- Build pricing knowledge base across organisation by creating documentation, materials and presentations
- Analyse key market and competitive trends that influence pricing strategy and product positioning
- Support the annual and forecasting revenues models

**The skills & knowledge you need to have**:

- Bachelor level or higher qualifications in business, finance or relevant discipline
- 5+ years in a similar pricing role within payments industry; with understanding of interchange and scheme fees
- Proven experience in complex pricing/financial/commercial modelling and analysis
- Ability to extract and manipulate complex data sets, to highlight information to support decision making
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in working in business undergoing significant transformation
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel & Powerpoint.
- SQL, advanced Access is preferred
- Excellent organisation and planning capabilities
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Highly analytical and strong attention to detail
