**DUE TO CONTINUED GROWTH WE HAVE NEW POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR CASUAL SUPPORT WORKERS IN THE IPSWICH & LOGAN REGIONS.**

You will be responsible for:

- providing individual support services and direct care for people with mental illness and disabilities
- supporting the client in the community
- transportation of clients to community engagements
- management of challenging behaviors
- completion of reports including incident, progress notes, shifts handovers

To be considered for this exciting role you must have the following:

- Genuine desire to provide the best quality support for people with disabilities
- Availability to work across a rotating roster and adaptability to work split shifts
- Have your own car and are willing to travel up to 30mins from home to assist clients.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals.
- Certificate III Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability or other relevant qualification & experience with high needs or complex behavior clients
- Ability to work in a very busy environment and to work both independently and as a part of a team.
- Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues.
- A valid Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening and a National Criminal Record Clearance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
