Mpower You is an established NDIS registered company that operates in the Ipswich region. We are seeking additional casual support workers with a high level of experience in both complex mental and physical health to add to our team. We are particularly seeking people who have experience working with people who live with poor mental health.

Job responsibilities include:

- providing a high level of support to our participants
- You must have a high level of understanding of mental health and the needs of people living with poor mental health
- You must have a good level of spoken and written English as you will be required to record shift notes as well as use our online software for shift rosters and associated tasks.
- You must be able to work in someone's home as well as in the community
- You will be assisting people to reach their personalised NDIS goals
- You will be required to complete an induction including making yourself familiar with our policies and procedures
- Must be comfortable with face to face work in this current COVID-19 situation

The following will also be required:

- Current Blue card and yellow card/ Worker Screening or prepared to gain
- Possess a registered and fully insured vehicle
- NDIS worker orientation module (available for free on the Quality Safeguards website)
- COVID-19 Infection control training - to be completed before commencing
- You must have a current police check or prepared to gain
- High level of experience in complex mental and physical health needs.

Preferred:

- Cert 4 Mental health or similar
