We are currently seeking multiple experienced and committed Home Care Workers travelling to clients’ homes within the Hobart region working alongside our clients enhancing their health/well-being and enabling them to stay in their own homes. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You need to demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy, and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

Carer Services

Duties will include personal care requiring manual handling, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, medication assistance and transportation. Experience with Dementia and Mental Health will be advantageous.

Role Essentials:

- A passion for assisting the elderly to remain independent in their own homes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certificate III in Aged Care (desired for Carer services)
- Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Current Certificates in First Aid and CPR
- Current National Police Check
- Driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Willing to undertake training, including hoists and assisting with medications
- Eligibility to work in Australia

Preferred Skills
- Medication Competency preferred
- Experience working with Aged and persons with a disability.

Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
