As the Head of Communications at Jetstar, you will develop and deliver our communication strategy. Your role will involve both internal and external communications, with a focus on creative story telling that engages and inspires.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven people leader who is passionate about communications, who loves working in a fast-paced environment and is an expert in managing issues.
The Head of Communications is a trusted advisor to senior leaders and has excellent interpersonal skills enabling them to build strong partnerships across the business, with media and stakeholders.
To be successful in the role you’ll bring:
- A highly collaborative leadership style, fostering open communication, teamwork, and shared decision-making to achieve organisational objectives.- Proven experience developing internal and external communication strategies for high-profile, complex organisations.- Excellent presentation skills coupled with the ability to create compelling narratives aligned with business strategy.- Demonstrated expertise in managing internal communications, catering to a diverse workforce.- Exceptional relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders and proven leadership in driving a high-performance team culture.- Capacity to identify business and audience needs and deliver messages via suitable channels while managing multiple programs in a fast-paced environment.- Agility, resilience, and the ability to foster trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation, driving the change agenda.
