Role Overview
In this role the Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for the planning, management and delivery of internal communications across Datacom Australia.
Role Responsibilities
The Internal Communications Manager role is responsible for (but not limited to):

- Writing, editing and distributing content across various communications channels, including Datacom’s intranet.
- Ensuring message consistency across all communications.
- Partnering with AU stakeholders and executive to provide communications support on key initiatives across our AU business.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of an integrated strategic internal communications plan to advance Datacom’s brand across Australia; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences.
- Creating strategic, purpose-driven communication plans for relevant internal stakeholders’ business goals and objectives.
- Contributing to the redevelopment and improvement of the intranet as a key communications tool.
- Managing employee engagement initiatives through internal communications.
- Working proactively and reactively in supporting AU location leads response to crisis situations (e.g., COVID updates).

Role Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in managing communication campaigns using a variety of channels, working both proactively and reactively.
- Sound experience in relationship and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrates a passion for excellence within a team, including a culture of continual learning
- Creative thinking with high level attention to detail.
- Operational efficiency and time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Good project management skills.
- Enhance internal reputation of the team.
- Previous experience as an Internal Communications Advisor or equivalent minimum 3 years.

Desirable
- IT marketing and communication experience.
- Broad knowledge of IT and industry trends.

Key Working Relationships
You’ll have experience in building positive relationships and gaining the respect of diverse stakeholders. You will work with the wider communications team, various marketing managers and coordinators as well as executive members and senior leaders. This role will drive the development and creation of Datacom Australia’s internal communications to ensure they are aligned with the overall communications strategy. In this role, you will help define how Datacom and the executive team communicates to its internal audiences across Australia.
