**Experienced Blast Superintendent Required**

We are currently seeking an experienced Blast Superintendent to manage and supervise all aspects of the daily operational requirements associated with Drill and Blast projects, while on an 8:6 or 12:9 roster out of Perth.

This is a permanent, full-time position for a Western Australian based mining and civil company.

**Daily Tasks**
- Oversee day to day running of up to 8 rigs on site, as well as the management of subcontractors.
- Blast management of 6 on shot, **hard rock and narrow vein experience are critical.**:

- Lead employees and ensure they have the required knowledge & tools to work safely & efficiently.
- Assist planning drill / blast schedules, estimating costs and aligning with operational requirements.

**To be successful you must have and provide**:

- Previous experience working in a Drilling & Blast Supervisor / Superintendent role
- Drilling Cert II and III
- Shotfirer Licence
- A strong focus on safety and hazard identification
- Comfortable working in teams and autonomously
- HR Licence
- NPC from within the last three months
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Ability to pass a medical
- A positive and teamwork attitude
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident
- Manual C class licence with no restrictions
- Strong communication and people skills
