Residential Mine Production Superintendent role for a leading Nickel producer in Western Australia

**Your new company**

You will be working for a prominent mining company operating in Western Australia, focused on the exploration, development, and production of base metals and minerals. Leveraging its extensive expertise and experience, they identify and develop high-quality mineral deposits.

**Your new role**

As the Mine Production Superintendent, you will be leading the execution of the mine plan, production targets and budget orientated methodology. You will also be responsible for compliance of mining activities, working alongside a motivated team ranging from employees to external service providers and suppliers. Your duties will include but are not limited to;
- Day-to-day supervision of mine related projects to meet the mine plan, ensuring all aspects, including earthworks projects, sump excavation, ramps, box cuts, and other areas have met desired expectations.
- Assuming responsibility and authority as the Alternate Quarry Manager when required ensuring that company standards are complied with.
- Lead mining contractors to achieve economic targets with regards ore and waste delivery, to liaise with internal technical services and external mining contractors.
- Monitor mining activities in accordance with drill & blast, loads & hall, cable handling and
- Ancillary services ensuring that all short
- and long-term plans are being met.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience and knowledge within the same or similar position
- Proven technical and managerial abilities aligned to mine production
- Hold a First Class Mine Manager ticket or Unrestricted Quarry Managers Ticket which is valid in Western Australia
- Mining Engineering qualification
- High level of understanding regarding safety and quality principles and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills ensuring a good understanding and relationships throughout the organisation.
