**About the opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Sales Representative to complete our South Australia territory and national team.

Reporting to managment, your key objective is to create user demand for Medalist across all categories and understand the path to purchase. Maintain, support and service the end user to create the best user experience possible by offering solution-based selling whilst developing strong customer and stakeholder relationships.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Maintaining regular call cycles
- Delivering instore training
- Professional selling and retail merchandising skills to achieve strong Brand Recognition and Sales Growth within your designated customer base and territory
- Communicate effectively and nurture all internal and external relationships to maintain and build strong working relationships
- Customer display and stock management excellence, ensuring we uphold the Medalist Customer Focus
- Undertake activities with customers and distributors at trade shows, demonstrations, and product launches
- Maintain customer account information complete with business updates and market data with weekly and monthly reporting of activities

**Skills and experience required**:

- Solid sales experience in retail hardware, FMCG or consumer sales will be highly valued but not essential
- Exceptional relationship building and effective communication skills to engage with a variety of people at all levels
- Ability to build leads and develop new clients
- Mid-level proficiency with MS Office programs
- Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with conflicting priorities
- Collaborative team member with the ability to drive outcomes and work towards team goals
- Highly organised, self-motivated with excellent attention to detail with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A current full driver's license is required
- A strong desire to learn

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Annual bonus
- Quarterly bonus

**Experience**:

- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 3 years (preferred)
- Sales: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
