**About the role**

Allpress is opening their first café at the Sydney Domestic Airport this Christmas, and we are on the hunt for a full-time Coffee Lead to take the helm at this exciting new venue, leading a new small team to:

- Be our Coffee Champion, coaching coffee excellence and sharing your knowledge with the team and customers alike.
- Lead the team to deliver iconic Allpress service to our customers as well as knowledge of Allpress product offerings
- Ensure the FOH operations run seamlessly
- Stock ordering, rotation and merchandising of all coffee related stock
- Adherence to food hygiene, cleaning & safety practices

**About you**

We are looking for a seasoned Café Manager or Lead barista with strong coffee skills and knowledge. You’ll be positive, collaborative and passionate about coffee. Sharing your expertise to elevate the Allpress offering at our venue. You’ll own the space and lead the FOH team to deliver friendly and seamless service to our customers.

To nail this role you’ll need:

- At least 3 years experience running a Café or in a Lead barista role
- Be a seasoned barista, both capable and confident on the machine
- Have experience with rostering, working to budgets and managing people
- Have a sound knowledge of WHS
- Have a creative flair and ability to bring some fresh ideas to the space
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
