**What You’ll Do**
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in empowering participants with psychosocial disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing compassionate, person-centered support in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community settings.
- Assisting with daily living, social engagement, and skill-building activities tailored to individual NDIS plans.
- Collaborating with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
- Using trauma-informed practices to foster trust and resilience in participants.
- Documenting progress and contributing to care plan reviews with creativity and insight.

We’re seeking vibrant individuals who bring energy, empathy, and expertise to our team. You’ll be a great fit if you have:

- A genuine passion for supporting people with psychosocial disabilities.
- Experience in disability support, mental health, or community services **(preferred but not essential—attitude matters**).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to think creatively to solve challenges.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card, and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to acquire).

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.96 - $41.76 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Support Work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Vulnerable People Registration (required)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (required)
- Infection Control Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
