**About the organisation**:
The NSW Rural Fire Service Association (RFSA) are a NFP Membership Association that is the authoritative voice in representing the volunteers of the NSW RFS. They are committed to advocating and supporting their members as they protect the community.

They provide a broad range of operational and welfare support for volunteers and staff, including; Training and Events, Education Scholarships, Volunteers Family Days, Counselling and Family Support, and Grants Programs.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Providing direct support to the CEO including diary management, travel management, organising meetings, general admin, etc.
- Organise monthly board meetings including organisation of event and travel for board members
- Creating board papers, meeting agendas, taking minutes and distributing following up papers from meetings
- Large corporate travel organisation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including volunteers
- Handling distribution of correspondence directed to managers
- General administration support where necessary

**Previous skills and experience**:

- Experience with high level administration duties
- High level travel management and organisation for more a group of individuals
- Experience taking minutes, creating agendas and board papers
- Exceptional communication both written and verbal
- High level relationship building with internal and external bodies, with a high value on volunteer base
- Outstanding organisation skills with the ability to remain positive
- Deep understanding for volunteer bases and their commitment to the organisation
- Ability to travel when necessary and do out of hours work on the occasion (very occasional Saturday required)
