**Job Description**:
SGS seeks an **Electrical Fluid Analyst** to oversee operations at our electrical oil testing laboratory located in Perth Airport, WA. This is a full time permanent posiiotn.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

- Coordinating all activities within the electrical oils testing laboratory, including analysis, result interpretation, commenting, recommending, and issuing final reports to clients.
- Ensuring efficient sample throughput with time management and quality assurance.
- Engaging in routine operational meetings and training sessions.
- Maintaining client communication and adherence to their sampling schedules.
- With mínimal supervision and a degree of independence, initiative and judgment, undertake in-depth analysis and interpretation of the results of analysis of electrical oils.
- Ensure that required KPI’s are met through continual monitoring and weekly reporting of laboratory team performance
- Identification and reporting of operational and procedural improvement opportunities and implementation thereof with support of the Line Manager
- Monitor and maintain QA/QC, NATA and Health & Safety requirements
- Carry out scheduled instrument calibration and maintenance in accordance with written procedures and certification requirement.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant Tertiary / Technical qualifications.
- Significant Practical Experience within the high-voltage power industry, specifically with Power Transformer condition monitoring, testing and/or maintenance.
- Experience in the analysis of electrical insulating oils as well as an in-depth knowledge of the various types of oil-filled electrical equipment.
- Understanding of general laboratory operations, QA/QC criteria and NATA accreditation and compliance requirements.
- Proficient computer software literacy
