**About the Role**

**The Position**
- Full-time Permanent Traffic Manager role for a leading Tier 2 Contractor initially working on a $600m Rail Station project in Crows Nest NSW 2065
- The role involves working closely and collaboratively with site-based roles, to ensure traffic management measures meet with project requirements, best practice, WHS regulations and best practice.
- Plan, coordinate and control traffic management activities to ensure that completed works achieve contractual and project objectives Achieving all project specific commercial and contractual objectives.
- Manage Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Management Plan
- Providing leadership with humility, that inspires, motivates and engages our staff and sub-contractors.

**Quals & Experience Requirements**
- Relevant trade certification (Certificate IV), or higher.
- SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training Card with the following competencies:

- Traffic controller
- Implement traffic control plans
- Prepare a work zone traffic management plan
- White Card
- Leading projects of similar sectors & values within same construction phase
- 5-8 years of experience implementing traffic controls on worksites AND 3 years of experience managing traffic control on a worksite/s or managing the daily operations of a traffic control organisation
- Leading a site team
- Manage the planning, development, implementation, revisions, and approvals with the relevant authorities and stakeholders (where required) of the Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP), Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Control Plans
- Monitor and evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of traffic management activities of the Project and where necessary suggest to the Construction Team corrective actions to rectify any deficiencies
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure traffic management measures meets project requirements, best practice, safety regulations and standards
- In conjunction with the WHS teams, manage the planning, development, implementation, revisions of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Management Plan
- Oversee the implementation, monitoring and auditing of the HVNL CoR Management Plan
