We are looking for a Showroom/Sales Manager to join Modern Times - a gallery and design store on Smith St, Fitzroy.

The position:
Modern Times is seeking a Showroom Manager with a passion for leading and supporting our team to help us grow and nuture our loyal cutomers base, fostering a positive business culture and inspiring the team to succeed across sales and service objectives. You will be supported by and report to the business owners. A five day roster including one weekend day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspire and support the team to sell high-value items, achieving and exceeding sales and service targets
- Use your leadership skills to foster a positive workplace and team culture
- Enthusiastically build genuine, warm client relationships with service that exceeds customer expectations
- Own all retail and sales processes end-to-end
- Employ your practical and creative ability to plan and execute showroom presentation in collaboration with the marketing team
- Take a leadership role in championing and improving training processes and systems
- Actively promote Modern Times key brands, designers and artists
- Ability to lead up and provide constructive feedback
- Day-to-day responsibilities of managing the sales team and showroom

About You
- At least 3 years sales management experience
- Proven sales ability in high-end retail
- Ability to lead and manage a team and consult with different stake holders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Value and demonstrate attention to detail
- Passion for art and design
- Have a genuine willingness and true commitment to lead others to achieve a common vision through positive influence
