**About the role**

Key accountabilities will include:

- Conduct timely and accurate research, analysis, and insights to shape and execute the overall strategy for the investment domain.
- Regularly provide strategic recommendations and performance updates to key stakeholders.
- Support the Head of, Senior Portfolio Manager, or Portfolio Manager with presentations.
- Establish and maintain trusted working relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring outcomes are aligned with our members' best financial interests.
- Negotiate agreements and foster trusted relationships with key external partners.
- Conduct industry research and maintain strong external networks for the asset domain.
- Contribute to research, analysis, insights, and reporting activities for the investment domain.
- Ensure governance and compliance obligations for the investment domain are fulfilled in a timely manner and to quality standards.
- Support the implementation of the Australian Retirement Trust risk management framework across the enterprise and externally.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Senior Portfolio Analysts and Portfolio Analysts as required.

This role is available as a **permanent** opportunity and can be based in Sydney or Brisbane.

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, investments, commerce or economics.
- Good understanding of the Australian superannuation industry.
- Solid experience working in the industry or for the relevant investment domain including knowledge of legislation, regulations, market trends, risk reward optimisation and emerging issues.
- Highly advanced research and analysis capability.
- Solid stakeholder management and negotiation capability.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to present at senior levels.
- Knowledge of valuation principles and practices.
