ING, Australia’s most recommended bank is seeking an Analyst or Associate for our Wholesale Bank’s Portfolio Management team based in Sydney. You will primarily specialise in supporting our Infrastructure Sector team, which provides financial solutions to leading developers, sponsors, and corporates from our regional hubs in London, New York, and Sydney.

You will work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders and develop relationships with portfolio clients and market participants. You will also have exposure to transaction management, modelling, and marketing. Whilst you will primarily support the Infrastructure Sector, you will also be given access and opportunities to work across different specialised areas.

**What you will be doing**:

- Analysing clients, projects and acquisitions
- Writing reviews and credit papers
- Performing financial modelling and analysis of financial models
- Providing external and internal process support across all phases of portfolio management
- Conducting credit risk assessments and research assignments
- Analysing due diligence information and reviewing documentation

**What we are looking for**:

- Tertiary degree in a relevant field
- 2-4 years of banking or related experience
- Proficient in MS Excel and excellent numeracy skills
- Credit risk analysis experience will be seen as advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise according to deadlines
- A great attention to detail placing a high value on quality and accuracy
- A collaborative and team oriented mindset
