Opportunity to join Dexus as Retail Design Manager based in Perth, looking after Western Australia and Victoria, responsible for tenancy design strategy and retail design. This role reports into Head of Retail & Healthcare Leasing, based in Sydney.

About the role:
- Manage the design vision for assets with implementing and delivering the agreed plan.- Manage quality of creative and tenancy design across the portfolio, leading design management of the asset.- Proactive involvement in formulating and documenting design strategy for the yearly Asset Business Plan.- Ensuring high quality design and vision for assets are in place.- Contributing and adding value to design development of assets.- Resolving design issues.- Ensuring all tenancy design aspects of the asset are consistent with overall design strategy, ensuring alignment.- Responsible for driving, understanding, and developing briefing documents, tenancy guidelines and design concepts.- End to end stakeholder management and communication.

How will you make an impact:
To be successful in this role, you will build relationships effectively across all levels of stakeholders. You will bring in great understanding of shop opening process and hold knowledge and understanding of retail design principles. Utilising design-led thinking to devise and create unique design concepts with a human centered approach to design, focusing on the way users experience spaces. Effective at working across multiple projects and sites at various stages, with excellent time management skills.

About You:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in interior design architectural experience in hospitality, retail and or commercial fit out design.- Retail design management experience is preferred.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Strong stakeholder engagement abilities and negotiation, mediation, and conflict management skills.
