**About the Opportunity**

We are looking for hospitality professionals to join our corporate functions team in the role of Event Supervisor.

You are an efficient and experienced all-rounder. comfortable managing a canapes function for 300 guests or leading a small bar team ensuring the focus is on outstanding customer service and premium guest experience.

You will hold a key position in the corporate team on match days and must be able to “jump in” and lead by example at all times, problem solving and being think on your feet. Positive and vibrant attitude is a must.

You would be responsible for:

- Managing a team of casual staff on both set-up shifts and events.
- Supervising a variety of events including running small events solo, managing banquet dining, canape functions.
- Supervising bars as required and possess basic cocktail knowledge.

- Have demonstrated corporate function and/or event management experience
- Share our passion and commitment to providing an unforgettable experience to our guests
- Always provide high-quality customer service
- Be reliable and well-presented
- Have the ability to use Microsoft Office and an enthusiasm to learn other programs is a plus
- Lead your team from the front, working actively on the floor when required
- Be able to work under pressure and keep your cool
- Hold a current Victorian RSA certificate
- Have flexible availability mid-week and including Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Be able to work long shifts, day, and night.
