**About the role**:
This role is responsible for ensuring that data is collected, reported and presented in a high quality and professional manner as requested and required. The role is responsible for mandatory reporting data extracts from EDIS, including data extracts from EDIS for mandatory reporting of ED activity exported to the NSW Ministry of Health and other activity data for ABF funding arrangements. This includes ensuring the quality of the data and that data extracts are functioning correctly to provide correct extracts to the reporting authorities. An understanding of the Emergency Department including processes, risks, safety, quality, patient flow, policy issues and data management is also required.

**Selection Criteria**
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
2. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a Health discipline, Information Management/Informatics, or Information Communications & Technology.
3. Excellent relationship building capabilities and influencing, negotiation and delegation skills with the ability to effectively communicate, motivate and work with diverse multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups across the range of SVHNS facilities and including consumers to support a range of change management initiatives.
5. Demonstrated knowledge and skills querying databases using Microsoft SQL and creating reports using Crystal Reports.
6. Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to negotiate and communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
7. Extensive experience in working with minimum data sets and data extracts.
