**Role Summary**
We are looking for an outgoing and driven Customer Engagement Specialist to join us at our head office in Brisbane, Australia. You'll be responsible for reaching out to new potential SMB customers to drive adoption and ensure potential customers are well equipped to start using Fathom successfully. You will also be responsible for setting up customers for immediate success by providing excellent onboarding experiences.
As Fathom continues to grow, this role has the opportunity for advancement and further growth into Sales/BD, Customer Success, or Account Management.
**What you'll do**
- You will focus on engaging new potential SMB customers, establishing Fathom's fit for the customer, and ensuring a seamless first experience.
- Engage and qualify potential customers to understand their needs and use-case, provide solutions, and ultimately help them determine if Fathom is the right solution for their needs.
- Onboard new customers or introduce them to a team member for onboarding.
- Provide product demonstrations (virtual and in-person) to potential customers.
- Record key information in our CRM to ensure we have access to accurate and reliable data.

- You are a highly self-sufficient and work well in a team setting
- You are excited about technology, SaaS or FinTech
**Your experience/education**
- Strong academic background (Bachelor's degree preferred, but not essential)
- 1-2 years experience in a customer-facing role
**Nice-to-haves**
- You have an accounting or finance background/education
- You have worked in a software/IT organisation
- You have worked in a sales, customer success or account management role
