**Your new role awaits**

Located at our **Brooklyn Portables Branch**, the Trades Assistant is responsible for ensuring our portable buildings and equipment is ready for hire, by assisting with the safe and efficient maintenance, service and repair of our extensive range of hire equipment. This will primarily focus on our portable buildings, and include some of our other mechanical equipment within Portable Buildings. You will learn the ropes in a supportive, team orientated environment.
- Demonstrate a safety-first attitude
- Undertake maintenance and repair of our Portable Buildings, Toilets and Containers
- Manage the maintenance and repair schedule of our site accommodation assets
- Maintain service records
- Demonstrate a clear and open communication with management
- Possess a flexible approach
- Complete Fleet Inspection via Mobile Device

**About you**:
Your high levels of customer service and Can-Do attitude, are complemented by:

- A positive and helpful attitude - _you enjoy being part of a team._
- Carpentry Trade or Relevant Building Experience essential
- A current driver’s licence (Forklift and EWP ticket desirable)
- Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
- Effective time management, attention to detail and sound communication skills
- Sound computer skills
- Plumbing knowledge (desirable)

**Salary**: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
