Here's how you'll be a part of our team

• Permanent full-time position
• Monday to Friday roster, 7am start

This vital role is responsible for providing strong leadership and direction to our Brooklyn Portables Branch team of workshop, yard and trade assistant staff who work toward ensuring all portable and amenities is repaired, serviced and maintained to high standards. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will understand customer demands and equipment need pipelines to establish daily workloads.

• Lead a large workshop team with a safety-first attitude
• Provide expert advice on diagnostics and customer requirements related to portable buildings, site offices, toilets, and amenities.
• Manage maintenance schedules and service records for assets, including small equipment and portable amenities.
• Coordinate and facilitate timely repairs of breakdowns, such as locks, plumbing fixtures, and other minor issues across portable units.
• Maintain quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll bring to the role

As well as having experience in a similar role, you will also have:

• Building trade qualified is preferred with proven experience of leading teams (preferred)
• Previous experience working with portable buildings, site offices, and amenities will be highly regarded
• Strong planning and cost control skills
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Ability to identify faults, and carry out preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and portable buildings remain in optimal condition.
